Today at a glance: appointments, messages, consents, gift cards and, for people with access, takings and the audit check.
What’s on it
The Today panel at the top has four numbers: Taken today (people with Finances access, compared with the same day last week; everyone else sees Consents today, or Booked today if consent forms are switched off), Appointments (and how many are still to come), unread Messages and Clients (and how many joined this month). Beside them, Next up shows who’s coming in next, with what, when and who with, and whether they’ve arrived, signed their form or paid; Open today takes you to the day. With nobody left today, it shows how many are booked tomorrow. Under it, Rest of today lists the appointments after that, and who came in earlier. It shows everyone’s appointments; use the menu beside it to show Just mine or one team member (Appointments follows it too). Your choice is remembered on that device. Then Today’s consents (when consent forms are on) and New clients. Tap any of them to go straight there. New client only shows for people who can add clients.
Needs you, team and activity
Needs you lists what’s waiting for you: unread messages, a recovery key to make (admins, until one exists), and clients whose updated health answers need reviewing (people who see clinical records). Team today shows who’s working, how many clients each has and their next one. Only people who can open the audit log see Recent activity (Full log opens the audit log) and Records verified, which means nobody has tampered with your audit log; if anything has been changed, it says where in red instead.
Gift cards
- 1Tap Gift cards at the top.
- 2To check one, type its code and tap Check. You see what’s left on it out of its value, its status, who it’s for, when it was bought (or created) and by whom, the date it’s valid until, what it can be used for, where it was emailed, and what it’s been spent on.
- 3Lost their gift card? Type the name or email it was for, or of whoever bought it, and every matching card is listed, usable ones first. Email again sends it to the address it went to the first time (never anywhere else).
- 4To use a card, open their booking in the Calendar, tap Take payment and choose Gift card.
- 5Sell a gift card is at the top: for one paid for at the desk, or given away (see Gift cards).
- 6Gift cards shows for everyone with Gift cards: check and sell in their permissions: everyone, unless you switch it off for a role or person in Admin → Team → Roles & permissions (or the person’s Access tab).
- 7If gift cards are switched off (Admin → Business → Payments → Gift cards), Sell a gift card is hidden, and Gift cards only shows while a card already sold still has money on it.
The top bar
The globe opens your website (or Set up your website if it isn’t published), the envelope shows Messages (website messages and client emails) and the bell shows notifications.
