Treatments, prices and categories

Your treatment menu: prices, options, discounts, minimum ages, quotes, regular appointments and who does what.

1. Each treatment has its price, length and description for your website.

Adding a treatment

  1. 1Admin → Treatments → Add treatment.
  2. 2Choose what it’s Based on: it uses that treatment’s health questions, risks and aftercare (you can change them).
  3. 3Name and price, plus a duration and a category (both optional). Leave Duration blank and no time is shown on your website; without a duration it can’t be booked online. Choose No category and the treatment is listed on its own on your website (first, not under a category heading or hidden in a tab), and at the top when clients book. Product cost per session is private and used for your margins in Finances.

Fill in with AI

  1. 1In a treatment, tap Fill in with AI, type its name (or a few words about it) and tap Suggest details.
  2. 2It suggests three names and three categories to pick from (your own categories first), what it’s Based on (new treatments), duration, a typical starting price, a minimum age, whether to ask for consent forms when booking online, a description and, where they’re usual, options (like 0.5 ml or 1 ml, small or large area, short or long hair), each with a price, length and line about it. If the treatment already has a description, tick Use its description too for better names and an improved description.
  3. 3Want to change one part, like the price, category or an option? Tap the pencil beside it, type your own and tap Use this (it’s ticked for you). Untick anything you don’t want, including any options, then Fill in the ticked ones. Already has options? Choose Replace my (and the number you have) or Add to them. With options, Price from becomes the cheapest one, so your website shows the right “from” price. Check prices against your own costs and local prices, and check the legal age rules yourself: they’re suggestions, not advice.
  4. 4Lots to do, like after importing your menu? Fill in with AI at the top of the Treatments list does many at once: tick the treatments (those still on the standard description are ticked for you), and it suggests for each one (one AI write each). Tap Suggest for N services, review them all on one screen, pick names and categories, tick any suggested options you want, and use the pencils to type your own name, category, duration, price or minimum age, then tap Save N services.
  5. 5It writes in your style: it looks at a few of your own descriptions and matches their tone and length.
  6. 6Nothing is saved until you save the treatment. Write with AI beside Description writes just the description, beside an option’s Short description writes that, and beside each category writes its description.

Photos with AI

No photo for a service? In the treatment, tap Create with AI under Photo: it suggests a picture from the service’s name and description, you choose a style, and use it if you like it. If the treatment already has a photo, the button says Replace with an AI image. Categories (and Offers) have Photo with AI too: in Admin → Treatments → Categories, tap a category to open it. Each image made uses one from your month’s AI images. Choose Include a person to show the treatment being done or a natural close-up, with made-up people (never real ones); body treatments show the client lying on a treatment bed, covered by a towel or in loose clothing, never bare skin or body shape. Never before-and-afters, needles or exaggerated looks. Use your own photos for real results.

Importing your menu

  1. 1Admin → Treatments → Import, and choose a CSV or Excel file (Download a template to see the columns).
  2. 2Match your columns: name, duration and price are needed; category, product cost, description, minimum age and Based on are optional.
  3. 3Check New, Will be updated and Need fixing, then Import. Treatments with the same name as one you have are updated, not added twice. New ones use the consent form of what they’re Based on, so check each one’s form afterwards.

Downloading your menu

  1. 1Admin → Treatments → Export downloads every treatment (switched-off ones included) as a spreadsheet (CSV) that opens in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets.
  2. 2It has the same columns as Import (name, category, duration, price, product cost, description, minimum age and Based on), plus Offered (Yes or No). Change prices or descriptions in the file and import it back: treatments with the same name are updated.
  3. 3Export shows for Admins, and for anyone given Download treatment list in Admin → Team → Roles & permissions (Managers have it to start with; it needs Treatments and prices). Each download is recorded in the audit log.

Finding a treatment

Search above the list by name, category, description or option. The menu beside it shows All treatments, Switched on, Switched off, On offer or one category. At the bottom, choose how many show per page (10, 25, 50, 100 or All; it’s remembered on this device) and use Previous and Next.

Switching treatments on and off

Use the switch beside each treatment to take it off your menu for now. Switched-off treatments can’t be booked and are hidden from your website, but nothing is deleted.

Treatments on promotion

While a promotion is running, each treatment it covers shows a green label in the list with the promotion’s name, how much off and when it ends (for example “Autumn glow: 20% off · Until 31 Oct”). Choose On offer in the menu beside the search to see just those.

Options

  1. 1Options give one treatment different prices and lengths, like short or long hair. Open the treatment and tap Add option.
  2. 2Give each an Option name and Price, plus a Length (optional; blank uses the treatment’s own) and a Short description (optional, up to 120 characters, shown when clients choose).
  3. 3Clients choose one when they book and pay its price. Your website shows the lowest as “from”.
  4. 4Tap the cross beside an option to remove it. Treatments set to Request a quote don’t have options.

Photo and description

In the treatment, tap Add a photo (or Create with AI): it’s shown on your business website, cropped to 3:2. Use your own photos, not client photos. Remove photo takes it off your website when you save. Description for your website is the line or two clients read about it.

Discounts

Discounts are set in Marketing → Offers, for one treatment, several or all of them, all the time or on set dates, off the price or off each visit of a regular appointment. A treatment shows the promotions on it under Discounts, with a link to Promotions. (Discounts set on a treatment before are now promotions named after it, at the same prices.)

Booking settings for each treatment

Minimum age (checked when booking, and shown on your website if you like). Button on your website: Book (clients book online), or Request a quote (for treatments that need a chat first: requests arrive in Messages), with your own Button text if you like (blank shows the usual words). Consent forms when booking online. Regular appointments, with the most visits in one go (a discount for them is a promotion: see Promotions and offers). Who does it, to limit it to certain people.

Categories

  1. 1Admin → Treatments → Categories. They’re the tabs on your website, in this order: use the arrows to move one up or down.
  2. 2Tap a category to open it: change its name (Save name), add or change its photo (Add photo), and write a line or two about it. The photo and description save straight away.
  3. 3Delete category is at the bottom of the open category. If it has treatments, choose which category they move to first.
  4. 4Add a new one in the box under the list. The Offers category fills itself (see Promotions and offers).
  5. 5Gift cards (under Offers, at the top of the list) shows a gift card on your website with a Buy now button that opens the basket. Switch it on, and tap it to rename it, choose First or Last under Where it shows, and change its photo and description (see Gift cards).

Deleting a treatment

Delete treatment takes it off your menu and website for good, with its photo, and off any promotion it was in (a promotion left with no treatments is switched off). Past bookings, consents, gift cards and finance records keep its name. To offer it again, add it again (Starter menu has the usual ones). Just pausing it? Use its switch instead.

Starter menus

  1. 1A new business starts with an empty menu. Admin → Treatments shows Start your menu: the usual treatments for your type of business, in categories, with rough UK guide prices.
  2. 2The common ones are ticked. Untick what you don’t do, tick anything else you offer and change the prices, then tap Add. Treatments with options (like lash infills at 2 or 3 weeks, or laser hair removal by area) keep their own prices: change them afterwards in the treatment.
  3. 3Later, tap Starter menu beside Add treatment to add more. Anything already on your menu shows On your menu. Do more than one kind of work? Choose another type of business in the menu at the top to see its list.
  4. 4Each one starts with sensible health questions, risks and aftercare for that kind of treatment (lashes and brows, nails, waxing, hair colour, tattoo, piercing, massage, or a PAR-Q for fitness). Consultations and patch tests don’t ask for a form online. Check everything matches what your insurer asks for.
